It's Thursday!!!! One more day closer to the weekend and I do love my weekends. So yesterday Fred was successfully removed. Yippee. Thank you for all the kind words of encouragement. It is a bit swollen and sore today, but no bruising so far, so hopefully I missed that part. The doctor was awesome who removed it and everything else checked out as well. My sister was diagnosed with Melanoma(skin cancer for you lay people) last year so I had a full body check as well. I was a bit nervous about the check, but so thankful everything went well. The doctor said I looked really good and my husband said "yes, she does". I should think that is embarrassing, but I don't. I love it. Now today's doctor's appointment? That was embarrassing. I went with hubby to the doctor to have his shoulder checked out. He has been having some pain and we wanted to have it looked at. While we were in the waiting room, he was sitting on the examination table and I was standing in front of him. I gave him what was meant to be a little peck on the lips, but it ended up being way more than that. Remember yesterday when I told you he was a great kisser? This is what happens. Anyway, while we were in the middle of this make out session, the doctor knocks quickly and walks right in. He said, "Ummm, Mr. Francis, do I need to come back?" I jumped back and turned bright red. Yikes!!! Luckily the doctor was someone hubby graduated high school with, but still. Hubby said, "No, it is all good, come on in. Sigh....I guess there are worse things to get caught doing, but wow.
Hubby and I took the boys to see a sneak preview of Neighbors last night starring Zac, oh em gee, Efron and Seth Rogan. It was belly holding laugh out loud funny, but sooooo inappropriate! The boys absolutely loved it, but some scenes I wanted to melt in the chair. I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that we have boys that are old enough to see rated R movies, let alone understand what is going on in them. I still see my little boy, who is over 6 feet, as wearing footie pajamas helping me make cookies. And when I met Rader, he was younger than Ellie is now, so I am in denial about how old they are both getting. Anyway, go see this movie. It really is funny and has a great message at the end.
Tip of the day: Do not over do it. Food, exercise, work, play, etc. Moderation is the key. If you over eat, you will gain weight. If you over exercise, you will hurt yourself. And, yes, you can over exercise. Your body needs to rest. We are only designed to take so much at one time. If you are on a high intensity work out program, take advantage of your rest days and do some stretching. Yoga is a wonderful thing as is stretching at home. Your body will thank you for it and be ready for the next workout.
Hope you are having a great Thursday. I most certainly am, but then I think most days are pretty great. It's what happens when you live in a world of rainbow and butterflies.
Hugs!!!
